It's definitely pumpkin season. I offer two exhibits to prove this claim.
Mallory wearing the cutest little pumpkin hat that Ms. Nichole gave to her. It fits her perfectly right now!
My Dad's finished OSU Beaver socks and my new glass pumpkin from Nichols Art Glass in The Dalles. They have the most amazing hand-blown glass pumpkins in there right now, and if you are remotely close to The Dalles I highly suggest you get over there and nab one for yourself. It is absolutely luminous, which was really hard to capture in the photo. They also have a great "bar" where you can sit and watch them at work - great for kids to see. And my Dad's socks are LavenderSheep Hand-Dyed Merino Superwash Sock yarn in colorway Cinder, which is really OSU Beavers colors (she can't admit that b/c she's a Duck.)
I have other progress shots to show you, including more completed wedges on the Tree Skirt, the almost finished Baby Bolero (temporarily lost the pattern), a few more repeats of the Rainbow Socks, and the newly re-incarnated Lambswool/Cashmere in the form of the Knitting Pure & Simple V-Necked Cardigan (it formerly was this). But I don't have pictures of all these things b/c of this:
I'm In! And I'm hooked!
