This quick little top-down raglan is the quintessential Saturday sweater and my new fave FO. (But don't tell - I wore it this week on a Thursday. In fact, I bound off my second sleeve Wednesday afternoon and didn't even wait to block it - that's how excited I was to wear it). There is so much to love about this design, first and foremost being the comfortable, I-just-threw-this-on-but-isn't-it-fab style. Coming in a close second, really more like a first-and-a-half, are the pockets. I LOVE POCKETS. Pockets on tunics, pockets on skirts, pockets on dresses - pockets pockets pockets. Finally, this is a really well-crafted design, with lovely back neck shaping thoughtful raglan increases (no armpit poofing happening here).
My timing on this sweater was perfect, since we woke up to a crisp 38 degrees this morning - fall is here. Luckily this lovely little number is knit out of another new fave: Classic Elite Majestic Tweed. We've had MT here since last Fall, but this was my first chance to get it on my needles and I quickly fell in love. The fiber combo is perfect: wool, angora, silk, nylon. Strength, shape memory, softness, and the inimitable angora haze.

If you know me at all, you know that I very, very rarely make anything twice. But I would do it in a heartbeat with this sweater.
