Made with one ball of Rowan's new yarn, Tapestry, on size 10 needles. Quick and easy pattern.
Materials: 1 ball Rowan Tapestry
Size US10 (6,0mm) needles
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Abbreviations:
WS – wrong side K – knit P – purl
k2tog – knit 2 stitches together
sk2p – slip one stitch as if to purl, k2tog, pass slipped
stitch over the k2tog
yo – yarnover (bring yarn around right needle counter-
clockwise)
Cast on 25 stitches. For a wider scarf (will require 2 balls), cast on 37 stitches and follow same instructions.
Row 1 (WS): purl
Row 2: k1, *yo, k4, sk2p, k4, yo, k1; repeat from * to end.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until desired length. Bind off all stitches loosely. Lightly block scarf by wetting in tepid water and smoothing out to dry flat.
