But not in the way you might think. No, I have not yet figured out the optimum sts for a tank that fits me perfectly. I have, however, found the person I was apparently knitting my previous sweaters for:

Meet Lesa Hanners, Yvonne's mom. She came in the store today, and tried on Apple Twist on a whim. It fit her perfectly, and she bought it up. In fact, she wore it out of the store! THEN, she thought...gee, if Sarah's sweaters don't fit her but they fit me, maybe I should try on the Lotus Lace Tank....

I swear, this sweater was knit for Lesa. Everything about it fit her to a T. Alas for her, this one isn't for sale. BUT, we will probably find a way to get it to her once it has served its purpose here at the store (if Vonnie doesn't knit her one first).
So apparently I can't knit a sweater to fit me properly, but I have no problem knitting for Vonnie's mom.
You all have to check out the amazing new bags I got in at the store. They are handmade by Wenatchee Wonder Woman Moe Wisen, and they are Fan. Tas. Tic. Beautifully sewn, sturdy, large pockets (hooray for large pockets), solid straps, and GORGEOUS fabrics. Yummy. Sabrina already snatched up the prettiest pink and blue paisley number. . . yowza.
I finally swatched for the Bubble Pullover and the Chevron Lace Tennis Sweater (hooray for swatching) and am getting started. Let me tell you - that Drops Alpaca is slick. As in, I can't use my trusty addis - have to use the addi naturas (bamboo) instead. Yikes.
Damn that Lesa, what you failed to mention was how, after prancing around in your knitted good, she then brought us chocolate to ensure that neither of us would fit into anything we knit, thus enlarging Lesa's wardrobe, shame...shame...

Wow, I love the tanks. They look so nice! I think I am going to have to give them a try. You know, now that summer is nearing the end and I will have one done just in time for the annual Seattle Rain-O-Rama to set in.
