So, what I should be doing is showing you all my progress on the Bubble, because last night I finished the sleeves and the 7th (of 8) pentagon, so I'm getting very close. I thought for sure that by the end of today I'd have the sleeves set in and the bottom ribbing done, but, um....
I got distracted.
So, my KSKS pal (recipient) was Julia, of Peony Knits (you can check out the bag and goodies I sent her here). While I was perusing her blog during the KSKS swap, I kept noticing her lovely Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet, and how gosh-darn cute it was. Well, today I decided to make my own.
Of course, I couldn't just make it, you know. I had to tinker, make a few change here and there, and well, just write up a whole new pattern. Most definitely inspired by Julia's, with a few sizing changes and raglan design changes. So without further ado, here 'tis:
And the back:
Available in two sizes, knit with 2 (or 3) balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superchunky, on size US11 needles. Super fast. Super cute. And here's the pattern, for your knitting pleasure.
ETA: I made a little whoopsie in the version I posted last night, but it's fixed now...
so so so cute!
