Two nights ago I dreamed all night about knitting. I am going to take this as a sign of me taking a turn back in the direction of my obsessive knitting pace, and not as a sign that I am reading too much Elizabeth Zimmerman before turning out the lights. It's my prerogative how to interpret my dreams, after all. I'm just curious how this new direction will manifest itself, since I am lacking in my usual desire to knit sweaters.
I can tell you how it will begin, however:

The Great American Aran Afghan. We have started an "Afghan Club" class here at the store, and I need to knit Square 1 before our first class on the 21st. Janice, a customer at the store who used to patron L'Atelier before moving up here, showed me her finished afghan about six months ago. That was all the impetus I needed to offer it as an 18-month class. I am knitting mine out of the oh-so-yummy Malabrigo, in Natural. Cross your fingers for all of us that we will all actually finish the afghan on a reasonable timetable. (This is absurd: I am having a baby in June and I think I will stay on top of this???? Hah!)
But right this very minute? I have a cold and today was our big once-a-year sale, so I think tonight I'll just go and see The Good Shepard at the skylight pub theatre. Aahhh.
Hope the movie was great! Can't wait for the class to start, either! I've been practicin' my cables . . .
Btw, I loved your sale! I just posted a pic of my stash enhancements on my blog - check it out!
