What on god's green earth could be better than sock yarn with cashmere?
Cashmere Broadrippes.
-
Pattern: Rob's Broadripples
-
Yarn: Handmaiden Casbah Sock, color Renaissance, from Dublin Bay in Portland
-
Needles: 3,25mm (US3)
I had to adjust the stitch count down to 48 because my gauge was looser than the last Broadripples I made, but it worked out well to take out two St sts between each ripple motif. Working with this yarn was like love at first stitch! So sproingy (is that a word?) and soft. I had plenty of leftovers for one of my girls to get a little pair of socks. . . we'll see if I can tear myself away from my next project: a shop model. More on that to come!
These are gorgeous!
